Abstract
Internal & Organizationally Sponsored Coaching Research

Professional coaching is one of the most effective ways to develop and retain employees. However, research on internal coaching is limited and warrants additional study on its strategic purpose within an organization, understanding of the staffing models to support it, and insight into how employees and executives perceive it. This causal-comparative and qualitative study identified that leadership development is the only HR strategy that changed an organization's internal coaching staffing approach. Furthermore, employees showed statistically significant differences in their experience working with different staffing models related to people management and relationships with managers. Finally, executives communicated that internal coaching departments needed to better communicate their value, staffing models' effectiveness, and implement their initiatives into broader development efforts within an organization.

Dissertations are lengthy, just watch the video…

then wait for my book.

Couldn’t use AI to write my dissertation but I can sure use it to summarize my research because, who reads dissertations for fun?! Of course AI isn’t perfect but it’s pretty darn close!
