Graduation Announcement!
To God be the glory, on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at 2:00 PM CST in Nashville, TN, @ Trevecca Nazarene University, Tolu Akande will be celebrating the completion of his Doctorate of Education (EdD) in Leadership & Professional Practice (Coaching & Consulting) — a journey shaped by coaching, leadership, faith, and a lot of late-night writing.
You are invited to the official doctoral hooding and graduate commencement ceremony where Tolu will receive his EdD and finally get to wear the fancy purple doctoral regalia he’s been working toward. 🎓
Ceremony + After Party
Saturday, May 2, 2026 @ 2:00 PM CST

The ceremony will take place outside on “The Quad” - there will be signs and staff to direct visitors.
Please check the weather before coming. I’d recommend dressing very light, the ceremony is outdoors with very little shade. Hats 🧢, sunglasses 🕶️ and water bottles are recommended!
***PLEASE NOTE: In the event of rain, only immediate family (Tolu’s wife & children) will be able to attend the ceremony indoors (limited seating). But don’t worry — you can still watch graduation live (click the link or scroll down) and we’ll celebrate together at the indoor after-party, immediately following the graduation ceremony. ***🎉
